As an editor at Time Out Chicago, I received media training and made regular appearances on Chicago-area TV and radio stations to offer commentary on the city's cultural scene. I'm comfortable in front of a camera and behind a mic — and I've carried those instincts into subsequent roles through presentations to teams and leadership.
Throughout my time at Time Out, I appeared semi-regularly on Chicago's CBS and Fox affiliate stations to talk through topics like upcoming events and the Lollapalooza lineup.
During the 2021 relaunch of Time Out Market Chicago, I returned to local news to cover what was new — incoming vendors, updated programming, and a mural of Chicago-native Virgil Abloh that had just been installed in the food hall.
I was a recurring guest on WBEZ's daily talk show Reset, where I spoke about topics ranging from the opening of Chicago's Salt Shed to Lollapalooza's first post-COVID return.
I also appeared regularly on WGN Radio 720, discussing recent Time Out Chicago coverage and fielding questions from callers.
