While working as an editor at Time Out Chicago, I worked on branded content for a variety of clients, including Goose Island and Jack Daniel's. These pieces ran in Time Out Chicago magazine as promotional features, written to match the voice of the publication's conventional editorial content.
Between 2017 and 2019, I wrote several listicles and explainers for the Orbitz and Expedia blogs. These branded pieces focused on travel-adjacent topics such as destination music festivals and a guide to a music-themed road trip through the American South. Unfortunately, many of these posts were lost during a CMS migration, but two remain live on the Orbitz blog.
