As part of the content marketing team, I periodically contributed posts to the Eventbrite All Access blog. Building on my experience as a journalist, I was often tapped to interview event creators and learn more about how they were using Eventbrite to connect with attendees and grow their business. I also worked on long-form SEO posts that provided information for creators in search of ways to improve their events.
In 2022 and 2023, Eventbrite awarded grants and mentorship to a small group of creators as part of the Reconvene Accelerator program. I spoke with each participant, assembling a series of profiles that explored the inspiration behind each event and the impact of Eventbrite's grant. These posts were promoted to Eventbrite creators, developing interest in future editions of the grant program.
Created in observance of Black History Month and Hispanic Heritage Month, these profiles of notable DJs (who also ticketed performances via Eventbrite) provided an authentic connection to the cultural moment. These posts were written with a consumer audience in mind and featured a playlist assembled by the DJ being profiled.
As part of Eventbrite's SEO maintenance, I wrote several long-form posts that explored the intricacies of various types of events and the event organization process. These posts targeted event creators looking for guidance and were shared in the resources provided to Eventbrite creators and in creator e-mail campaigns.
